Root Orchards 5th generation farm in Mosier, Oregon that has U-Pick Cherries in June/July. 2022 U-Pick opening date will be announced soon.

U-Pick prices is 2.25/lb
Please bring your own containers to pick use while you pick cherries and to transport your cherries home.

The 2025 U-Pick season has officially come to a close. Thank you to everyone that visited and supported Root Orchards this year! We’ll see you in the summer of 2026!

REMINDER - We will be closing for the 2025 U-Pick season this Wednesday 7/16 at 3pm!

Tuesday and Wednesday we are open from 9am-3pm. There will be some rainier in the cold storage to sell along with SWEETHEARTS (dark sweet) for U-Picking!

We will still be open for U-Pick Cherries this coming week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 7/16.

7/16 Wednesday will be our last day of the season.

Hours - 9am-3pm

There will be Sweetheart (dark sweet) available for U-Pick and we will still have some Rainier (yellow sweet) to sell from cold storage.

This weekend we have 2 locations open!
1111 Root Rd will have mostly Sweethearts (dark sweet cherry) and limited Rainier.

Dry Creek Location which is right next to Behren Rd (follow the signs), we will have Rainier (yellow sweet cherry) and Sweethearts! We will be closing for U-Pick after next Tuesday the 15th. So come get your Cherries!

U-Pick is still going on and we have dark sweet cherries and Rainier yellow sweet cherries available!
Open 9am-6pm everyday till fruit runs out.

We’ve got 2 locations that can be visited for U-Pick!

At Behren rd there are Dark and RAINIER to pick. The rainier will make it through the weekend but after that there might not be Rainier left so come out soon!!!

🍒 REMINDER, tomorrow we are closing our U-Pick at 3pm pm due to HEAT. Wednesday and Thursday we will be open 9am-6pm. For the 4th of July through the weekend we will be open 7am - 6pm!

1200 carroll rd has dark sweet Bings and yellow sweet Rainiers!

1111 Root Rd has dark sweet Lapins! There will be Lapins and Rainiers available starting the 4th of July at the 1111 location.
