This was a job from 2 weeks ago on Church St. at the entrance for the State Park Campground. A Tourist Family pulled out on to 423, inadvertently in front of a loaded Tri Axle Dump Truck. The truck swerved abruptly to avoid the car and rolled over on top of a new Tesla occupied by two adults and two children in car seats in the rear. The truck crushed the car and continued on it's side, dumping the majority of the cargo and sliding in to a wooded area of the park. The original call stated that a Tractor Trailer rolled on a car and there were one adult & one child entrapped. We immediately contacted our friends at Milewski's Towing to assist us, thinking the worse possible situation. On arrival, we found that the occupants had been extracted and taken to area hospitals. As a First Responder, it's very "unsettling" when we see smashed car seats for children but fortunately everyone was ok & survived the incident. Since we had both Rotators on scene, we were able to lift the truck and swing it out of the woods without dragging it or doing more damage. Then once it was at the roadway, we rolled it in the air and set it down substantially easier then the last time it rolled...LoL The area was cleaned up and everyone returned safely from a pretty catastrophic incident. A special thanks to the Coolbaugh Township Volunteer Fire Company for assisting us with the task and providing Traffic Control through out the mishap. We finally got the final approval from the Insurance company so Vincent will be restoring the landscaping and restore the area to "Pre Accident Condition" or as close as we can in the next couple of days.
