🌟 Employee Spotlight 🌟

This week, we’re excited to highlight Peggy Bakewell, who has been a dedicated driver with Knox County Transit for 11 years! 🚍

Peggy says her favorite part of the job is getting to know her passengers and building those meaningful connections along the way. It’s those everyday conversations and familiar faces that make her role so rewarding.

When she’s behind the wheel, you’ll often find Peggy tuned in to WNZR 90.9 FM, enjoying some great music as she drives. Her bus also features a special personal touch — artwork created by one of her regular passengers, proudly displayed for everyone to enjoy. ❤️

Outside of work, Peggy loves spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking up delicious treats.

Thank you, Peggy, for your years of service and for making every ride a little more personal for our passengers! 👏
