🚚 Major Network Cuts:

In a huge shift, UPS and FedEx are closing hundreds of facilities.

UPS plans to shut down roughly 200 sorting hubs over five years (22 closing this year alone) and cut thousands of jobs due to softer demand.

FedEx is going even bigger, planning to shutter over 475 locations by 2027 as part of its "Network 2.0" consolidation .
