We lifted this 40' x 66' cottage, complete with a brick fireplace. We lifted 6 feet in total yesterday to a new elevation above the 100 year flood plain. Our masonry crew will now start on foundation extensions. Other contractors insisted on fireplace removal and cutting the cottage into two pieces. Our talented team lifted it all in one piece

Two houses lifted in two days!

This generational family farmhouse has been lifted so our team can remove the old rubble foundation and construct a brand-new basement. Once completed, the new basement will add approximately 1,700 square feet of additional living space to this cherished family home.

After torrential spring rains caused 24 inches of floodwater to flow through this home, the homeowners took action to ensure it would never happen again.

Deitz House Lifters, a division of Deitz House Moving Engineers, Inc., raised the home 12 inches above the 100-year flood elevation, providing long-term protection against future flooding.

Wall extensions and the new floor system will be completed by Justin K Meyers Builders LLC.

This classic Michigan Home built in the 1940s, is receiving a brand new basement. The old cement block foundation had started to buckle in and allow moisture to weep through. when we are done, it will have basement under the entire structure, waterproof, level floors, and structural integrity to last into the next century.
