Congratulations to our September Employee of the Month! William Foltz! Thank you for all you do!

Today, Muskogee County Transit joins our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honoring the first responders, service members and everyday Americans who answered an unimaginable moment with courage and compassion.

On that day, public transportation became part of the emergency response. Across New York and Washington, buses, trains and ferries helped move people to safety while also helping transport first responders, personnel and critical resources where they were needed most.

It is a powerful reminder that public transportation is more than getting from one place to another. In moments of crisis, transportation can become a lifeline — connecting people to safety, resources and one another.

At MCT, we are proud to be part of the network of people and services that keep our community moving every day, and we remain committed to being there when our neighbors need us most.

Today, we remember those we lost. We honor those who served. And we will never forget.

We love seeing Muskogee County Transit in The Muskogee Phoenix! 🚌💚

Mayor Ryan Lowe recently joined our team for an early morning ride-along to experience firsthand what public transit looks like in Muskogee County.

Every day, our team connects people to work, medical appointments, groceries, school, and so much more—but the impact goes far beyond getting from one place to another. It’s about connection, independence, and community.

Thank you, Mayor Lowe, for taking the time to ride with us, meet our team, and learn more about the people we are proud to serve every day.

We Drive Muskogee. 💚
