Muskogee-Davis Regional Airport This is the Official page for Muskogee-Davis Regional Airport, Muskogee, OK. KMKO The field's primary runway is 150 feet wide and 7,200 feet long.

Davis Field is located six miles south of Muskogee and serves that area's general aviation needs. The other two runways are 75 feet wide and 4,498 feet long and 60 feet wide and 1,900 feet long, respectively. The airport is located at 35˚39´ N, 95˚21´ W. Named in honor of Muskogee native Jack Davis, who was killed in action in the South Pacific in World War II, Davis Field was previously known as

the Muskogee Army Airfield. Built in 1941–42 by the War Department, the initial runway was constructed by commandeering a straight stretch of U.S. Highway 64. The facility was leased by the federal government in October 1942 to serve as a Ground Air Support Base to nearby Camp Gruber. It was also used as a combat-crew training site for aerial photographic reconnaissance during World War II. The government lease for wartime use was terminated on August 15, 1947. The field was leased again by the federal government in December 1956. It served as an Air Force Reserve base until May 3, 1967. It has remained a civilian airfield since that date. The majority of current Davis Field traffic consists of corporate jets and medium and light twin-engine, single-engine, and military aircraft.

This morning multiple aircraft from the Civil Air Patrol came to Muskogee-Davis Regional Airport to give rides to Muskogee High School ROTC cadets!

We want to welcome home the "newest" airplane based at Muskogee-Davis Regional Airport! This is a 1940 Piper J-3 Cub that was recently purchased in Tennessee but will now call Muskogee home. This 1940 Piper Cub will be the oldest aircraft in Muskogee!

The ferry pilot that flew the Cub from Tennessee made a video about his journey back to Muskogee. If you like aviation videos, you might like his YouTube channel! Check it out!

Dusty Crophopper went tactical!

The USAF OA-1K Skyraider II is an American fixed-wing, single-engine counter-insurgency aircraft configured for light attack and armed ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance). It is built by Air Tractor and L3Harris for the United States Special Operations Command. This aircraft was developed from the Air Tractor AT-802 which is used for agriculture and fire-fighting programs.

The 137th Special Operations Wing of the Oklahoma Air National Guard is stationed at Will Rogers Air National Guard base in Oklahoma City.
