Position Type: 1099 Contract (With strong potential to transition to a Full-Time W-2 role with benefits)

Davis Field Aviation is a deeply rooted, long-standing fixed-base operator (FBO) at MKO. Davis Field Aviation is a Platinum Garmin Avionics install center. They are the best in the whole USA! Together, we are expanding our maintenance footprint and looking for skilled professionals to keep our clients flying safely.
What You Will Do:
Perform Annual Inspections:
Take the lead on annual inspections, primarily focusing on high-performance Piper PA-46 aircraft (Malibu, Mirage, Meridian, Matrix) for Midwest Malibu Center.
General Aviation Maintenance: Execute annual inspections and light maintenance on a diverse fleet of general aviation aircraft for Davis Field Aviation. Maintain High Standards: Deliver top-tier, compliant maintenance work for clients traveling to our facility from all across the United States.
What You Need (Requirements) Certifications: Current A&P License with Inspection Authorization (IA) certificate is highly preferred.
Experience: Strong background in General Aviation (GA). Experience with Piper PA-46 aircraft is a massive plus.
Tools: Must own your own standard hand tools. (The company will proudly provide all specialized tooling, heavy equipment, and shop resources necessary to complete the job).
