Allan Brothers, Inc. Growing, packing, and shipping premium tree fruit for the last 100 years. 🍎🍒🍇🍷 Allan Bros., Inc.

is a fruit growing, packing and shipping company located in Naches, WA. With orchards located throughout Eastern Washington, Allan Brothers strives to produce premium quality products sought after by consumers while providing the highest levels of service to its retail customers. Following a path of exceeded expectations and consistent, high quality products, Allan Brothers has forged the strength of its reputation through numerous years of development and innovation. The Allan Brothers family has a long and rich history in the agricultural and fruit packing industry. Beginning well over a century ago in the Yakima Valley, Samuel, Thomas, and William planted the company's first seeds in Washington soils. Escaping the cold winters of North Dakota, the first Eastern Washington farming endeavors for the family consisted of crops of corn, wheat, oats, potatoes, and hay for the dairy cows. The focus remained on these crops for nearly twenty years until the second generation - Walt, John, Alex, and Bob - branched into tree fruit and subsequently planted four orchards of cherries. Following the expansion into cherries, apples came next with Stamin Winesaps being the first of the family apple orchards. Not to allow any time or resources to fall to waste and to keep the business moving forward during the time it took for apple trees to start bearing fruit, corn and potatoes were also planted as a cash crop between the orchards' rows of trees. By the end of the 1940's and with the success of the fruit harvests, the Allan Brothers family was well on its way with completely replacing all the hay, corn, grain, and potato crops with orchards. In the early 1950's the first apple packing and cold storage facility was constructed outside of Naches, WA. Through the years cherry packing lines, controlled atmosphere storages, and other support facilities were built to accommodate the growing business. Under the watch of the third generation - Dave, Todd, George, and Larry - the business and its facilities expanded even further to include shipping docks, multiple apple and cherry packing lines, quality control systems, new orchard plantings, and strengthened business relationships throughout the tree fruit industry. In most recent years, the fourth generation of the Allan family, Tom and Travis Allan, have assumed leadership roles and company ownership to continue the legacy of the Allan name within the Washington State tree fruit industry.

🚜🍎 Happy National Farmers Day! 🌱

Farming takes hard work, dedication, and a whole lot of heart. From caring for our orchards throughout the seasons to bringing in the harvest, it takes a team of hardworking farmers, growers, and farmworkers working together to grow something great.

Today, we’re celebrating the people behind every season who put in the long hours, face the challenges, and work tirelessly to help feed families near and far. We’re proud to be part of Central Washington’s agricultural community and grateful for the people whose hard work and dedication keep it growing. ❤️

Here’s to our farmers, growers, and farmworkers today and every day!

🍎 Yesterday, we took a little break from the hustle of harvest to celebrate our amazing Allan Bros team! 🎉

Right in the middle of a busy apple harvest, we gathered everyone together for a Harvest Party featuring some delicious Young Life BBQ beef sandwiches, followed by fun games, plenty of laughs and a little friendly competition. 😄

Harvest is a team effort, and we’re grateful for the people who show up every day and keep things moving—from the orchards to the warehouse and everywhere in between.

And the best part? We get to celebrate our people while supporting our community through the Young Life program.

Good food. Good fun. Great people. That’s a win-win! 🍎❤️

Today, we celebrated the retirement of Mike Clark!

Mike joined Allan Bros. in 2002, starting in our Warehouse Maintenance department, where he worked until 2007. He then made the move out to our ranches, taking on the role of Project Manager for Orchard Maintenance at YVO—a position he affectionately calls the “Catch All.”

Over the years, Mike has been someone our teams could count on, and today, he was celebrated by our owners and the many people he has worked alongside throughout his Allan Bros. journey.

Mike, thank you for all your years of hard work, dedication, and the many ways you’ve helped make Allan Bros. great. We’re wishing you all the best in this next chapter!

Happy retirement, Mike! 🍎🙌

Out in the orchards, our crews are hand-picking apples, filling bins with fresh, carefully harvested fruit. Those bins are then loaded onto trucks and headed to our warehouse in Naches, WA, where the next part of the journey begins.

Our skilled Receiving team unloads the trucks and stacks the bins high inside our controlled-atmosphere storage rooms—carefully filling every inch of space.

Just look at the scale of this room: 1,805 bins of apples.

That’s 1,624,500 pounds of fresh, hand-picked Washington apples! 🍎🍎🍎

And this is just the beginning. Harvest season is here, and there’s a whole lot of work—and a whole lot of apples—moving through Allan Bros.!
