I was raised in a home that did a lot of frozen meals and eating out so I didn't learn much about home cooking growing up. I always wanted to become a better cook and with a growing family and awesome mentors I have learned a thing or two. I am still learning and trying new things in the kitchen as well as in gardening, preserving, Christian homeschooling, travel, DIY'ing crafts and home decor, ma
naging and remodeling rental properties as well as fixing our granddad's 1940's "farmhouse", that originally was the town post office and store with living quarters in the back, and homesteading our 9 acre property attached to that in the midwest. My hearts desire is to share with others our journey, tips, tricks, adventures and encourage other to be brave and learn something new. We took a big risk and started buying rental properties in the midwest a few years ago and this year began closing out our high stress, intense labor Idaho concrete business. We also bought 9 acres and a home, from family, with many outbuilding that need updated. We hope to start the remodels of our homestead and one more rental property in 2023. My husband and I couldn't be more opposite. It works for us, I am loud and adventurous and he is quiet and grounded. He is the roots and I am the wings. I am the mom of big blended family 4 kids plus 1 grandson... yours, mine, and others. We love to teach about travel in our RV, create DIY home decor, and share recipes, tips and tricks.
