With no previous experience in the wine industry, the ladies built the company from scratch doing ole fashioned research. After everything was licensed, it was off to Europe for 9 months to scout and choose the first wines. While on the trip the ladies visited Joao Tavares de Pina at Quinta da Boavista. Andrey was working as a Beverage Director in St. Louis at the time and was scouting new wines f
or his award winning wine program at Elaia & Olio. He loved Joao's wines and wanted to get them into the US. Joao pointed Andrey towards Alleah and Erin and a friendship was born. Fast forward three years and Andrey is now National Sales Manager and the portfolio has grown to 18 producers across 8 countries, all hand sourced by the trio. The vineyards are all at the least farmed with organic practices, owned by a family run company, and relay a glimpse into the true character of the region- yesteryear or today.
