Mast Cove Seaplane Fly-in Saturday 9/20/25

Pilot meeting 10:00 am

Pumpkin drop estimated time is between 11:00 am- 1:00 pm

Please understand this event is weather dependent, there is a frost in the forecast for tonight (Friday) so that could delay planes flying in.

Long Lake is extremely low this September, please use caution.
Boaters/spectators please stay out of the cove and give right of way to seaplanes.

We appreciate your patience and understanding that safety is our #1 priority.

2025 Mast Cove Fly-In is on.

Saturday September 20th.

Even though I won’t have my plane here I wanted to continue the memories.

We have the approval for the pumpkin drop.

Water level is very low.

Plane parking is limited, campground beach is ok, big dock, and point down where I usually keep my plane is all sand.
Parking there is ok.

Planning for pilot meeting at 10a
Saturday.

15 Years Ago Deb & I took out a lease on a hangar over at the Bethel Airport 0B1. Upon returning from vacation last month we received notice that the building was sold and our lease was terminated.
This past weekend with the help of friends we moved everything out and back to Naples. Now my sheds at home are full of 15 years worth of stuff that was in the hangar. New chapter of life I guess. Thanks to all the customers that came to support us while we were there. Thanks to all that helped me move out.

Just finalized the weekend numbers from the 2024 Mast Cove Seaplane Fly-In. After all our expenses were met we raised $615.00 for Maine ACE Camp. Thank you everyone who flew in, drove in, and those that camped, helped cook and set up, and clean up!!
For those not closely involved in organizing this type of event, it’s takes months to pull this all together! Special thanks to our 8 + pilots who made this possible, without airplanes and people to fly them we can’t have a fly in. Thank you to the Naples Marine Safety for being there even though you needed winter coats to be on the water, not a spectacular boating day.
Thank you all very much for your support, our donation will help some kids learn more about all the aspects of aviation!

Pete got his 172 back to Mast Cove early this morning with help of so many great people! Thank you everyone for the help and to those that came for moral support! I have never been in OB1 when he does this, I have always wanted to be there to greet him at Mast Cove.. absolutely amazing to see him pop off the trailer - non issue! Way to go Pete! 😎happy flying ✈️
