The weather for the weekend looks rather unsettled, but the bite is on

After one slow night with a strong tide, it was right back to it!!
Plenty of nice tubes to go around and not showing signs of slowing down

Tougher conditions with the ripping tide last night. Back of the boat and heavier sinkers were the way to go.

Some angler didn’t fair as well with the conditions but there still plenty around
Marked a ton of life all night

Back out tonight at 7pm

Windy conditions made things a little sporty on Friday, but we still managed some decent fluke and sea bass fishing!

The squid fishing was just okay overall, but the guys high-hooking had buckets filled by the end of the night. Some quality squid mixed in as well.

Back on the squid ground last night with a private group.

Fishing wasn’t as hot and Heavy as last Monday but it was close to home and a chip all night

High hooks had over a bucket

Keeping an eye on the weather this week and it seems like this pop of squid close to home is here to stay with the water temps

Was a great start to the Saturday before the wind came up yet again

We were on the fluke grounds in the water was a few degrees warm warmer warmer than last time but still a few degrees where it should be this time a year

We had a few keeper fluke in the good showing of shorts before the wind came up no trip tomorrow with the wind tonight and through the am

We were also out on the squid grounds close to home last night with a sold out crowd those who stuck at the rail and got dialed in had ok catch but very often it was last week The water was also about 48° so once we get to that 50° mark thing should break open

We had a post slated to post but it didn’t upload…

We were able to get out on the start of our fluke season.
We had a great group of anglers who were ready for some flatties

The wind came on early… the seas came on early… the water was cold we could go on and on

We got a few before the drift got to quick

It’s gonna be a great season with the bait we were seeing and how much squid is around

We are sailing everyday weather permitting

Back on the grounds last night with a private squid charter

Fishing was a chip all night with flurry’s here and there

We put the time in and were rewarded

We still have plenty of days for private trips during the week

Was great to be on the squid grounds last night. We didn’t have them close to home and had to do some driving but we got it going right from the start. Sharpies had a bucket with everyone going home with dinners

No trip tonight with the wind and rain but next week is shaping up nice

We still have plenty of dates for day or night squid private charters
