SiLo’s back in the classroom ✏️

It was a busy week full of career fairs, speaker panels, and mentorship. The team made it to 3 universities: Middle Tennessee State University, Belmont University, and Western Kentucky University (which we visited 3 times alone).

The best part was getting Ella and Chloe back to their alma maters, but reuniting with one of our summer interns was a close second!

Thank you to the professors and programs who had us out! We’re grateful to have strong partnerships across campuses and with your students.

This week was Truck Driver Appreciation Week! Check out a few of our team members’ shoutouts to the folks who make it all happen.
At SiLo, we’re carrier first in all that we do. Our appreciation for drivers surpasses just this week. We keep carriers top of mind in all our decision-making and recognize the hard work they put into keeping supply chains moving. On behalf of all of us at SiLo, thank you drivers for all that you do!

Last week we welcomed the largest new hire class since our company was founded. We are thrilled to have them on board as they sharpen their proactive communication skills and dive into all things logistics.

We are also excited to welcome five Summer Interns who are equally eager to learn and grow in the dynamic world of transportation. Let’s get to work!

A few of the ladies from SiLo attended the Nashville Transportation Club Women in Logistics panel this afternoon! It was an honor to be in a room with such inspiring leaders in the industry and hear about their journeys to leading in a male-dominated field.
