July 2026 Owner Operator of the Month
Join us in congratulating Ryan Moore on being named Tennessee Steel Haulers' Owner Operator of the Month for July!
Ryan represents the dedication, humility, and drive to improve that make owner operators successful at TSH. While he's on the road, you'll often find him listening to podcasts, satellite radio, and catching up with fellow trucking friends. No matter where the road takes him, one thing always rides along with him: his Bible.
One of Ryan's most memorable experiences with TSH came during a John Deere delivery when two pieces of equipment developed issues. With the lead technician unavailable and a newer technician working through the problem, Ryan stepped in to help diagnose the equipment and get things moving in the right direction. It's a perfect example of the experience, initiative, and problem-solving mindset he brings to every load.
When he's not behind the wheel, Ryan enjoys spending time in the gym and making memories with his wife and kids. His commitment to discipline and growth carries over from his personal life into the way he approaches his business on the road.
Ryan says one of the things he values most about being part of TSH is the freedom to self-dispatch and choose the loads and regions that fit his goals. That flexibility allows him to run his business his way while maintaining the balance that's important to him.
When asked what has helped him be successful, Ryan pointed to a mindset of continuous learning. He believes success comes from never assuming you know everything and always seeking knowledge from people who share the same drive and determination to grow.
His advice to other owner operators is simple: "Keep that left door closed and stay focused on what's important."
