Delivery Associate/ Driver/ Parcel Loader
Velocity International Group is a 3rd party logistics partner serving professional businesses in the Nashville area. Currently seeking experienced drivers to operate 26 ft box trucks and/or sprinter vans for same-day deliveries. This position requires consistently lifting boxes weighing between 25- 45 lbs.
Candidates:
report to headquarters to receive routing information, keys to vehicle and load parcel onto vehicle in an orderly fashion
safely drive to routed destinations utilizing mobile software
utilize a pallet jack, dolly and/or lift gate to offload materials to residential and business addresses
must be proficient with GPS and other navigation applications and familiar with the middle tn area
MUST be a safe driver and have a clean MVR (motor vehicle record)
have excellent communication skills and respectfully follow instructions from the company dispatcher
treat customers in a friendly, professional manner while maintaining a safe and non contact delivery
are able to consistently lift, squat, twist and turn while moving heavy material
have minimally 3 years of driving experience and be over 21 years old
We are a professional, customer-oriented logistics team and are looking for positive employees who thrive on growth, appreciate clean, safe working conditions and are friendly and straightforward communicators.
Potential candidates must have a strong ability to manage time and streamline routes for efficient deliveries and pickups. Must be able to lift 90 pounds and maneuver 150+ pounds with appropriate equipment. Must be skilled at driving in inclement weather and heavy traffic, be willing to work on occasional nights/weekends and be able to communicate openly and honestly with management.
PTO and holiday pay are available after 90 days and additional benefits with company time. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Please be prepared to pass a drug screening and a background check during the application process.

Velocity is looking for a skilled technician to assemble furniture and children's toys. This is a temporary position with semi- consistent work; about 50 hours per month through mid-November.
Assemblers must come dressed in safe clothing and shoes and be able to operate tools.
