With great sadness, we share news of the unexpected passing of Bill Moderson, a valuable member of our team for 25 years. WPG offers our deepest sympathy to Bill’s family during this time of loss.
We are so grateful for the years Bill spent with us. His humor, kindness, and dedication to members and the WPG team will be deeply missed.
Bill loved to joke around, telling members he’d help them with their special favor, but it would cost them a donut (or a dozen). Please join us in remembering Bill, maybe with your favorite donut in his honor.

William J. Moderson, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 14, 2026. He was born on October 29, 1973, the son of the late Steve and Thea (Robinson) Moderson.

Meet Bill!

Bill works as the Inbound Planning Coordinator at WPG, keeping our freight moving smoothly behind the scenes.

When he’s not at work, Bill enjoys playing cards, shooting darts, and heading out camping with his kids.

If he could ship anything anywhere, Bill says he would love to start shipping doughnuts over to France.

Bill also mentions that there is a lot more to logistics than just seeing an order on paper, with a ton of critical work happening behind the scenes to make it all come together.

It’s hard to put 40 years into one post. Today we are celebrating our driver, Doug, on his retirement. He has been such an important part of the WPG family for a long time, and we are really going to miss him around here. Thank you, Doug, for all your hard work and for being a great teammate. We’re all going to miss having you on the team, but we’re so happy for you as you start this next chapter.

Meet Pam

Pam works in Accounts Payable at WPG, helping manage invoices and payments.

When she’s not at work, Pam spends time with her grandchild, goes to the park, and enjoys working on ceramics. She is also a big fan of NASCAR racing.

If she could ship anything anywhere, Pam says she would ship herself since she hasn’t had the chance to travel outside the country yet.

Pam also mentions that logistics has many moving parts, with shipments often taking different routes before reaching their destination.
