This month, we’re featuring these ARFFs built to enhance operations with Independent Suspension, the Oshkosh® ECO EFP™ System and DC16/V8, 670 BHP, U.S. EPA Tier 4F engines. Two units feature the HRET (high reach extendable turret) for fire attack in confined spaces while the low attack bumper turret supports fire suppression at ground-level.

This 4x4 ARFF is runway ready for Tweed New Haven Airport! ✈️

The apparatus provides fire suppression, high or low, with a Sidewinder roof turret and a bumper turret. Visibility is increased with a thermal imaging camera mounted on the roof turret. The unit carries 1,500 gallons of water, 550 pounds of dry chemical and 220 gallons of foam. Independent Suspension helps ensure a smooth ride in all terrain while a DC16/V8, 670 BHP, U.S. EPA Tier 4F engine helps provide rapid emergency response.
