This 6x6 ARFF is going home to !

The apparatus carries 3,000 gallons of water, 550 pounds of dry chemical and 420 gallons of foam. A roof turret and a low attack bumper turret help provide fire suppression in tight spaces. Powered by a DC16/V8, 670 BHP, U.S. EPA Tier 4F engine and equipped with Independent Suspension, the unit offers excellent acceleration and mobility. A roof-mounted thermal imaging camera and rear-view camera will increase all-around visibility.

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is on cloud-9 with their 8x8 ARFF!

The apparatus carries 4,500 gallons of water, 630 gallons of foam, 550 pounds of dry chemical and 460 pounds of Halotron. Powered by dual DC16/V8, 770 BHP, U.S. EPA Tier 4F engines, the unit has exceptional acceleration for emergency response. A 65’ HRET (high reach extendable turret) with a 12” piercing tip provides advanced fire suppression in tight spaces. The Oshkosh® K-Factor™ System displays the piercing tip position within the fuselage for maximum precision. For fire suppression at ground level, the unit is equipped with a low attack bumper turret. San José Mineta International Airport is receiving this 6x6 ARFF!

The unit is powered by a Deutz TCD 16.0/V8, 697 BHP, U.S. EPA Tier 4f engine and holds 3,100 gallons of water, 550 pounds of dry chemical and 440 gallons of foam. The 3% Mechanical foam system with the Oshkosh® Eco EFP™ system accurately measures foam percentages from each discharge. Advanced fire suppression features include a 50’ HRET (high reach extendable turret) with a 12” piercing tip, a low attack bumper turret and 19 gpm under-truck nozzles. Independent Suspension helps provide a smooth ride while a roof-mounted thermal imaging camera provides increased visibility.
