I know there are a lot of questions and apprehension about travel to Mexico in light of the recent headlines.

First, I want to ensure my valued guests that I am monitoring all of the happenings, and will continue to do so. My goal is to ensure my guests feel safe as they travel.

At this time, the primary impacted area for tourists is Puerto Vallarta and Nayarit. Our partners on the ground have noted no new issues in the area today, and the airport remains open with some airlines operating as normal. The resorts are not impacted and are operating at 100%, but excursions are currently being suspended out of an abundance of caution.

Today, the State Department has lifted the shelter in place put into place yesteday in an abundance of caution for the Cancun and Mexican Caribbean area, and our partners on the ground there are reporting no impact for have the resorts and tourists. In addition, excursions are running as usual and the airports are operating normally. As a reminder, this area is on the opposite side of Mexico, and not near the impacted areas.

My number one goal is my guests, so if you are booked to head to Mexico soon, I will work with you to ensure you can travel or adjust plans as needed. I highly encourage everyone to avoid sensational stories, and also to be critical of the things they see on social media. I am seeing many AIs images and videos, which can skew the true situation. I also ask guests scheduled months from now to please refrain from making rash decisions, until we have a better picture of the impact.

Thank you all as we keep our friends and partners in Mexico in our thoughts, and we are hopeful for a peaceful resolution soon.
