Who to Call and What to Do:
Emergency (Active Fire/Danger): 911 immediately. Unattended or illegal fires during a ban can cause, or have already caused, immediate danger to life and property.
Non-Emergency Reporting: If the burning is illegal but not immediately threatening to spread, call the non-emergency line for the local police or fire department.
State Environmental Agencies: In New York, violations can be reported to the NYS DEC at 1-844-DEC-ECOS (1-844-332-3267) or 1-833-NYS-RANGERS.

Today Past Chief Mike Congelosi had the privilege of attending the 47th Utica Fire Academy graduation. See his quoted Facebook post from his personal page... "What an honor it was today to attend the 47th Utica Fire Department Academy graduation. It was a privilege to pin our very own Neversink Fire Department members Anthony Chevalier and my biggest honor pinning my son Logan Congelosi. I'm very proud of you both. Congratulations to you and the entire 47th academy graduates. Be safe out there."

Thank you to all that attended the Halloween party at the firehouse this evening. We had 69 kids tonight. Thank you to the members that helped out tonight. Enjoy the pictures. We are looking forward to continuing it next year.

Thank you to all that came out this morning to our fall breakfast. We hope everyone enjoyed their breakfast. Congrats to Hugh Delaney on winning the 50/50. And thank you Hugh for donating money back! We look forward to seeing everyone at our spring breakfast in 2026.

This afternoon 25-11, along with Car 1, 2 & 3 participated in the Trunk-or-Treat at Tri-Valley School. Thank you guys for taking time out of your day to help out. We ran out of all the candy.
