Yesterday, we traveled through four states and enjoyed a stop at Fadden Maple Syrup and General Store for a fascinating demonstration on how they tap maple trees, harvest the sap, and produce delicious maple syrup! 🍁🥞 We also took in the beautiful fall colors along the Kancamagus Scenic Byway, visited a charming covered bridge, and admired the breathtaking Quechee Gorge.
Today, after a fantastic lunch at Scotch Plains Tavern, we boarded the Essex Steam Train & Riverboat for a train ride to our departure point for the Becky Thatcher riverboat! 🚂🛥️ We wrapped up the day by checking in for a two-night stay at Foxwoods Resort Casino—the perfect ending to another fun-filled day of our New England adventure!

Today was full of classic Maine adventures! 🚂🌊 We enjoyed the first of three scenic train rides aboard the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad, followed by a relaxing ferry ride around beautiful Casco Bay. Our afternoon continued with a visit to Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth, where we took in the stunning views of Portland Head Lighthouse and explored the historic ruins of the Goddard Mansion. 🏞️ So many beautiful sights and memories along the Maine coast!
