ATTN Middlebury Wednesday route customers. Pickup will be delayed today, and possibly with the truck vs. horses depending on timing. Dealing with a personal medical issue, and had an appointment this morning conflicting with the schedule!

ATTENTION MIDDLEBURY TRASH CUSTOMERS
No curbside pickup this week 28/29/30, moved to NEXT week 4/5/6.
HOWEVER! The wagon is going to be parked in town at the municipal pool parking lot for a DROP OFF LOCATION (see below) from Sunday night through wednesday afternoon.
For TRASH and COMPOST only, for those that dont want to hold on to their pickip for an additional week recycling will be picked up following week as usual. Trash can be tossed anywhere in the wagon, compost in the (green) toter bins strapped on either side of wagon (please no plastic bags or green eco bags!)
This coming pickup week happens to fall on our Field Days Fair week. Having 4 route days and managing demonstrations/horse shows with the horses for the fair is going to be too complicated. We hope you understand and will see you on the roads next week or at the fair! Please share this with your neighbors!

When it comes to bringing food waste to the transfer station in Middlebury, please only put your food scraps in the toter. We do not accept compostable bags, foodware, or packaging in our bins.

There are trash receptacles in the food waste area for bags or other non-accepted items. Thanks for doing your part to keep composting clean!

Unfortunately the horses will not be on the road today! We had some issues with our pickup truck that’s currently getting repaired.
Everything will still be picked up! Please have your trash out early first thing, we will be doing the route with a borrowed truck that is able to pull the trash wagon!

Quite the colorful hitch we’ve had the past few weeks! Our friend Quinn a 4 year Belgian has worked his way up in our training program, got equipped with his road shoes and has been joining our percherons on the Bristol and Middlebury routes!
He’s been a great addition to the hitch, we are enjoying our time we have with him before he heads back home to his owners.
