We are excited to partner with Carolina Thomas and Thomas Built Buses employees to collect items to be delivered to our neighbors in Western North Carolina. The collections are being distributed by Operation Airdrop and will be taken to one of their collection sites.
Many people, including our drivers, have friends and families that have been impacted by this devastation. Please join us to support our neighbors in Western North Carolina.
We will be collecting items at our office, and we will take them to Carolina Thomas for the next bus leaving on Friday, October 4, 2024 for delivery to an Operation Airdrop collection site. If possible, we are asking for all donations to be delivered to our office by Thursday, October 3, 2024.
Accepted items:
• Sport drinks (powdered packets)
• Hydration Packs (powder form)
• Baby wipes
• Diapers (adult and children)
• Baby formula
• Bug spray and sunscreen
• Plastic utensils
• Trash bags (13 gallon or contractor bags)
• Non-perishable foods
• Cleaning supplies
• Plastic tarps/sheeting
• Toothbrushes/toothpaste/toiletries/sanitation items
• Dry Pet food (dog and cat)
• Hand sanitizer/ sanitizer wipes
• Heavy duty work gloves
• Socks – all sizes unopened
Unaccepted items
• Uses clothing
• Water (due to weight)
• Most chemicals including bleach
• Fuel
• Flammable items (hazmat)
If items are received after the drop off date, we will ensure that they get to a drop off site to be taken to our neighbors. We thank you for any support that you feel that you can give at this time.
