The workday never really ends when you’re a travel advisor!

It’s 3 AM, the luggage is loaded, and we’re at the airport headed to Fort Lauderdale for CP World with Cruise Planners!

Looking forward to a few days of learning, connecting with other travel advisors, and seeing what’s new in the travel industry. I’m excited to bring back new ideas, opportunities, and experiences to share with my clients!

A little sleep deprivation is worth it when you’re doing something you enjoy!

Travel Tip Wednesday

5 minutes. That’s how close my clients came to missing their cruise.

This past August, they drove in the morning of their cruise and got stuck in ferry traffic for 3 HOURS with all the last-minute summer travelers.

They made it onboard with about 5 minutes to spare.

Talk about starting your vacation STRESSED.

This is why I always recommend getting to your cruise port the day before you sail. Yes, it’s an extra hotel night, but waking up near the port beats watching the clock from a traffic jam any day.

Travel Tip Wednesday

I thought we could do something a little different for today’s travel tip and learn from each other.

What is one of your absolute must-haves when packing for a trip?

It can be something you pack for a weekend getaway, a cruise, a flight, or pretty much every trip you take. Maybe it’s a certain packing cube, travel fan, charger, toiletry bag, medicine organizer, luggage scale, or something I haven’t even thought of.

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, but I definitely haven’t stopped planning trips behind the scenes.

So I thought it was time to check in with everyone.
