The original mill located in the town of New Stanton, PA was operated by the Painter family initially, later the Stanton family, and presently the Hepler family for 75 years. Though the mill no longer stands, today the productio

n and distribution is still managed by the Hepler family. Our quality products are milled in New England, carrying on the traditional recipes - especially the Self-Rising Buckwheat Pancake Mix, which is a favorite across the mid-Atlantic and beyond. You can find our products at Hepler's Hardware in New Stanton, PA, and other northeast distributors.

In Philadelphia, cast-iron waffle irons were manufactured at Abbott & Lawrence's Liberty Stove Works between 1851 and 1887. This one was made between 1851 and 1857.
