Port Authority employees are hard at work, with ongoing snow removal operations at all of our facilities. The safety of the traveling public is our top priority as we work with our partners to restore travel operations.

The latest on our facilities:
Airports

✈️ JFK, Newark Liberty, LaGuardia, Stewart, and Teterboro airports are open
✈️ All flights currently canceled - passengers should check with their airline for updates
✈️ AirTrain JFK and AirTrain Newark suspended; free shuttle buses operating

Bus Facilities

🚍 Midtown Bus Terminal: Open only to ticketed passengers via the main 8th Avenue entrance; north wing subway entrance closed. Travelers should consult NJ TRANSIT and their bus carrier for service updates
🚍 GWB Bus Station closed; all bus carriers have suspended service

Bridges

🚙 All bridges are open
🚙 All shared-use paths closed, except the Goethals Bridge

Tunnels

🚘 Lincoln Tunnel center tube closed
🚘 Holland Tunnel: Two NJ-bound lanes blocked on Hudson Street (NYC approach) due to a downed tree

PATH Train

🚆 Modified service in effect
🚆 Newark–JSQ and Hoboken–WTC lines suspended
🚆 Grove–WTC, Grove–33 via Hoboken, JSQ–33 via Hoboken, and Hoboken–33 lines operating

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey's airports have broken records yet again

John F. Kennedy International Airport - JFK, Newark Liberty International Airport - EWR, LaGuardia Airport, and New York Stewart International Airport collectively had their busiest year-end holiday travel season ever, with 5.8 million passengers traveling between December 22, 2025 and January 4, 2026.

Record volumes were set during the Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Presidents Day travel periods of 2025 as well.
