Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
We humbly appeal to kind-hearted individuals for help during the most difficult period our family has ever faced.
Several years ago, my father took a 1 crore taka loan from a leasing company to purchase vehicles for his business. He regularly paid the monthly installments. However, our lives changed completely when he suffered a severe stroke that left the right side of his body paralysed. As the sole earning member of our family, his illness brought his business and income to a complete standstill.
He remained bedridden for nearly five to six years, during which our family struggled to survive and meet even our basic needs. Eventually, the leasing company repossessed and sold the vehicles. Along with the installments my father had already paid, the company recovered approximately 96 lakh taka out of the 1 crore taka loan.
Despite recovering nearly the entire loan amount, the company is now demanding a further 1 crore taka and has filed a case against my father. Due to his medical condition and our severe financial hardship, we have no means of arranging such an enormous amount.
My father is a humble, deeply religious and God-fearing man. Throughout his illness and suffering, he has held firmly onto his faith in Allah (SWT), constantly engaging in dhikr and seeking His mercy and guidance. His faith has remained his greatest source of strength.
We are a family of five. My brother and I are still in school, while my sister is a university student. My mother works at a school, and her modest income barely covers our education and my father's medical expenses. My sister also gives private tuition to help provide for our family.
My father continues to suffer from the lasting effects of his stroke, severe diabetes and other serious health conditions. Despite his fragile health, he has now been arrested and is in jail. We are extremely worried about his health and safety. We have also been informed that 50 lakh taka is required for his bail, an amount completely beyond our family's means.
We are left with nowhere to turn. We therefore make this heartfelt appeal for financial assistance, legal guidance, or help in connecting us with anyone who may be able to support our family and secure my father's release.
