We just received the following press release from Inflight Digital regarding an exciting new program. Inflight Digital was created to provide all publishers (regardless of size and budget) affordable access to millions of consumers who travel through airports in the United States (and selected international destinations) each year. Every consumer who has downloaded the Inflight Reader app receives a pop up reminder as soon as she/he enters an airport terminal. A virtual newsstand is at their fingertips, and any magazine(s) displayed can be downloaded and read for a period of 24 hours. Single copy and subscription sales will, of course, be generated as a result of this 24 hour taste of your content.

It is with profound sadness that Kable Distribution Services announces the loss of our dear friend and co-worker, Carol Mack Zechman, who departed this life early this morning. Beloved wife of Bill Zechman, recently retired Senior Vice President of Kable Distribution Services; loving mother of Lisa, Brian, Kevin(Lois), Keith Zechman, and Alison Gordon(John); dear grandmother of Taylor and Jack; beloved sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and great aunt.

The essence of Carol is best summed up by the following tribute from niece Lori Kohout Burkert (used with permission):

My beautiful Aunt Carol and her soul mate, husband, best friend...Uncle Bill. There are simply not enough adjectives to describe her...she truly was and forever will be one of the most beautiful, genuine, loving, compassionate , exemplary women I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Even in her pain she did all she could to ease the pain she saw in others... Reassuring, loving, and reminding us that this is not our home. She was my aunt, my God mother, but most of all she was my friend... And a mentor in so many ways. The amazing thing is that EVERYONE would echo these sentiments...That she was their FRIEND. She has left a legacy that will never be forgotten through her 5 beautiful children, and 2 grandchildren and all who loved her. Thank you Lord for placing such beautiful lights in our lives. Thank you Lord for the gift of Carol Mack Zechman.
