The Shop Theatre

The Shop Theatre The Shop Theatre, was founded in the spring of 2011 by co-producing directors Midori Harris and Paul Takacs in New York City.

Our first production was LOVE IN TRANSIT, a new work by a young emerging playwright named Judith Goudsmit, here in New York at the Red Room in late July of 2011. Since then we have been responsible for the US premieres of Philip Ridley's TENDER NAPALM in 2012, Jon Fosse's I AM THE WIND in 2014, and will soon be presenting the New York premieres of Philip Ridley's DARK VANILLA JUNGLE and TONIGHT WITH DONNY STIXX.
