ACT- American Carrier Transport

10/16/2026

We are proud to highlight our participation in the 40th Annual SOFTASK Event, with our very own VP, Cristian Milanes, representing ACT Network.

Events like these provide an opportunity to connect with industry professionals, exchange ideas, strengthen existing partnerships, and explore new ways to better serve our customers.

As ACT continues to expand our asset-based drayage and intermodal operations across the country, staying connected with the people and organizations shaping our industry remains a top priority.

A special thank you to Christian Milanes for representing ACT Network and continuing to build the relationships that help drive our company forward. 👏🏻

Your re**er container is ready. The distribution center has no appointments. What happens next? ❄️🚛

For temperature-sensitive cargo, the wait needs a plan.

At American Carrier Transport New York terminal, we offer re**er container storage and monitoring while you secure your delivery appointment.

Our onsite team checks your re**er multiple times a day, monitoring:

🌡️ Temperature
⛽ Fuel levels
⚙️ Unit health
💨 Airflow

These checks help protect perishable cargo while it’s in our care—because an appointment delay shouldn’t mean losing visibility over your freight.

As we start another week, let’s keep your cold chain moving, even when delivery has to wait.

Have a re**er container waiting on a DC appointment in NY/NJ? Send me a DM or contact [email protected] to discuss storage availability and your cargo requirements.

October is here. In baseball, it’s time to chase a championship. In logistics, it’s time to finish the year strong. ⚾ 🚛

With Q4 underway and the World Series around the corner, the “Mr. October” mindset feels especially relevant: prepare for the moment, earn your team’s trust, and deliver when the pressure is on.

For our customers, those moments can look like a container approaching its last free day, a tight delivery appointment, or a last-minute shipment that needs capacity.

Every move matters. Every handoff counts.

At American Carrier Transport , our drivers, dispatchers, CSRs, safety team, yard teams, and billing staff each have a role in getting freight across the finish line. It takes communication, accountability, and a team that follows through.

October baseball reminds us that preparation gets you into the game. Ex*****on keeps you moving toward the goal.

That’s the focus we’re bringing into Q4—helping our customers keep freight moving and close the year strong.

What’s the biggest challenge on your Q4 lineup: capacity, appointments, or container availability?

Who is actually moving your freight?

Carrier vetting is under greater scrutiny, and customers are asking more questions about who has their load, who is dispatching it, and who is accountable if something goes wrong.

The Montgomery decision has brought broker-carrier selection into sharper focus. At the same time, double brokerage and cargo theft remains a big concern for customers who need a clear view of the carrier handling their freight.

That’s why choosing the right transportation partner matters.

When you work with American Carrier Transport those concerns go out of the windown. With true asset based operations, customers have a direct line to the team coordinating it. Our terminal teams work with our drivers, track the move, and communicate from pickup through delivery. You know who to call and who is responsible for the job.

Freight comes with enough pressure. Knowing the team moving it should give you confidence, not another headache.

🚛 Driver Appreciation Week may be coming to an end, but our appreciation doesn’t.

This week, we had the opportunity to bring food to our drivers every day as a small token of appreciation for everything they do.

The truth is, a meal is a small gesture compared to the long hours, early mornings, late nights, traffic, weather, and daily challenges our drivers handle to keep freight moving and our customers taken care of.

Behind every successful delivery is a driver making it happen. 💪

To all of our drivers across the ACT Network — THANK YOU.

Thank you for your hard work.
Thank you for your professionalism.
Thank you for your commitment.
And most importantly, thank you for being the backbone of what we do.

We appreciate you this week, but we value what you do every single day of the year. 🚛🇺🇸

Happy Driver Appreciation Week from all of us at ACT!

👇 If you know a professional driver, take a second today to thank them. They deserve the recognition.
