The Newport Beach office of Crow’s Nest Yachts has three new owners, the company announced Jan. 24: Jerry Stone, Dennis Riehl and Todd Sherman. All three have years of experience at Crow’s Nest Yachts and in the marine industry, and they are excited about this change, Riehl said. He added that becoming owners of the Newport Beach

office will enable them to better satisfy their clients’ specific needs and tailor their extensive marketing directly to their clients: boat buyers and sellers. Crow’s Nest Yachts has three offices on the West Coast -- in Newport Beach, San Diego and Seattle -- and all are now individually owned. However, they are “connected at the hip,” Riehl said. The Crow’s Nest Yachts brand, a property of Grander Inc., is licensed for use by the individually owned offices.

“Being an owner really puts a different perspective on the entire business,” Riehl explained. “We now have the responsibility to continue with the 35 years of excellent service Crow’s Nest has provided its clients. We also have the ability to improve on that service.”

Crow’s Nest Yachts is known for its large inventory of brokerage yachts and is the West Coast dealer for Viking Yachts. It is also known for its exceptional service department, headed up by Steve Besozzi -- with 35 years of experience, Riehl said. The staff of Crow’s Nest Yachts looks forward to continuing to work with the boat buying public and brokerage community, and helping satisfy clients’ individual boating needs, Riehl said.
