🎉 Big news for the Sugar River Region!

We're thrilled to share that Discover Sugar River Region has been awarded a $418,000 grant from the Northern Border Regional Commission to boost tourism right here in Sullivan County!

This three-year investment will help us develop exciting new visitor experiences across the region — think guided fishing trips, farm-to-table adventures, and more ways to discover everything our region has to offer.

"This grant will help us tell our story better — and give us more story to tell," said Penelope Whitman, Executive Director of Discover Sugar River Region. Her hope: once visitors come for the day, they'll stay for dinner — or the night — and spend more at local businesses.
