We are saddened to share the passing of Fred Piercy, a respected transportation professional and valued member of the CV International family.

Fred spent 20 years in business development with CVI, after a 43-year career with Bernhardt Furniture as Director of Transportation, where he built an exceptional reputation within the industry. He made a lasting impact on North Carolina’s furniture and logistics industries and was honored with various awards including the AHFA’s Specialized Furniture Carriers Lifetime Achievement Award (2021) as well as the NCLTL's Bill H. Teague Lifetime Achievement Award (2015).

A U.S. Army veteran, Fred was also known as a civic leader, trusted mentor, and a true Southern gentleman.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Betty, and his family. He will be deeply missed.
