Friday, we had the absolute pleasure of attending the Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat event at Coast Guard Base Portsmouth. Officer Taylor ensured all the little trick or treaters were taken care of. Obviously, we felt the best costume was on the left. Just saying!!!!!

Networking is the key to success!! Recently the VPAPD, in collaboration with the Virginia Chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates, hosted our 2nd annual golf outing at Ocean View Golf Course in Norfolk. It was a great day to get together for a little competition and interaction. Congratulations to team Chesapeake for winning 1st place. We were extremely honored to be able to donate $520.00 to FBINAA VA Chapter President Tommy West for the chapter’s Officer Down Account. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!!

This past weekend, we were honored to join a vast array of public safety professionals from across the region who gathered at Norfolk Scope Arena for the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, hosted by the Norfolk Fire Foundation. These heroes climbed 110 flights which is the equivalent of the World Trade Center Towers. Great job to everyone who participated to pay respect to those who did not survive. Strong work guys!!💪💪

Great things are happening at The Port of Virginia!

We may be a little biased, but we think Virginia is a pretty special place.

On National Virginia Day, we're proud to celebrate the Commonwealth we call home and the people, businesses, and communities that make it thrive.

Virginia's strategic location, world-class infrastructure, and talented workforce have long made it a leader in global commerce. As America's Most Modern Gateway, we're proud to play a role in connecting Virginia to the world while helping drive economic opportunity across the Commonwealth.

Happy National Virginia Day from all of us at The Port of Virginia. Virginia is home. 💙
