🚛💨 Attention Truck Drivers: Protect Yourself During Poor Air Quality Conditions

The smoke from the Canadian wildfires continues to affect air quality across many regions. While most people can stay indoors, truck drivers are out on the roads keeping America moving.

If you're operating through areas with heavy smoke:

✅ Keep cab windows closed
✅ Use the recirculate setting on your HVAC system
✅ Stay hydrated
✅ Limit time outside the truck when possible
✅ Watch for symptoms such as coughing, headaches, irritated eyes, or shortness of breath

To every driver hauling freight, fuel, food, and dry bulk products across the country: Thank you for your dedication and hard work.

Stay safe. Stay healthy. Keep rolling. 🇺🇸🚛

🚛☀️ Truck Drivers: Stay Hydrated, Stay Safe! ☀️🚛

With temperatures soaring, staying hydrated isn't just important—it's essential. Long hours behind the wheel in extreme heat can quickly lead to dehydration, fatigue, dizziness, and reduced focus.

💧 Hydration Tips for Drivers:
✅ Start drinking water before you feel thirsty
✅ Keep a cooler stocked with cold water and electrolyte drinks
✅ Avoid excessive caffeine and sugary beverages that can contribute to dehydration
✅ Take regular breaks to stretch, cool down, and rehydrate
✅ Watch for signs of heat exhaustion, including headaches, nausea, and excessive sweating

Your truck keeps America moving, but your health comes first. Make hydration part of your daily routine and don't underestimate the impact of extreme heat.

🚚 Remember: A well-hydrated driver is a safer driver.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and keep the shiny side up! 💙💧

Celebrating America’s 250th & a Safe 4th of July on the Road! 🇺🇸
As we look ahead to America’s 250th birthday, it’s a powerful reminder of the freedom, resilience, and unity that keep this country moving forward—mile after mile. As a trucking company, we are proud to be part of the backbone that keeps America running every day. 🚛💨
With the 4th of July coming upon us, many will be celebrating from the road instead of at home, but that doesn’t mean we can’t do it safely and responsibly.
Here are a few ways to celebrate while keeping safety first:
✅ Plan your route ahead of time – Expect heavier traffic, especially near cities and popular celebration areas.
✅ Take breaks – Fatigue and long holiday drives don’t mix. Stay rested and alert.
✅ Stay parked for fireworks – If you want to enjoy a show, make sure you’re safely parked—not watching from behind the wheel.
✅ Watch for others – More cars, more distractions. Keep extra distance and stay defensive.
✅ Celebrate responsibly – Save the drinks for when you’re off duty and safely off the road.
This Independence Day, whether you’re home with family or rolling across the highways, remember that safety is the best way to honor the freedom we’re celebrating.
Here’s to 250 years of America—and many more miles ahead. Stay safe out there, drivers! 🇺🇸

One of the biggest advantages Palumbo Trucking brings to the table? A full mechanic shop onsite. That means no waiting, no outsourcing, and no delays- just fast, reliable service that keeps our trucks and our operations moving.

This is a perfect example. We tackled a full engine replacement on a Peterbilt 389, and having our own shop right here made all the difference. From diagnostics to install, everything was handled in house by our skilled team.

When you have the right tools and the right people under one roof, there’s no limit to what you can accomplish.

Another truck back on the road and running stronger than ever 💪🏻
