Norfolk is rocking tonight

Norfolk, Virginia!!! Where Captain and first mate started their lives together and stayed for almost 9 years. A lot of changes here, but still holds amazing memories. Hardest times of our lives and that’s why they mean so much. We grew up “together” here!! ❤️

Blackened freshly caught shrimp straight from the shrimp boats 🍤 🛥️, onion and zucchini over a bed of linguini noodles! Delicious!!! 🤤 I topped with some garlic Alfredo sauce and Parmesan cheese. Garlic bread on the side. 😍 a party in my mouth!!

The best part about doing America’s Great Loop is the community feeling amongst loopers. It’s a family. Like talking to someone who really understands what you are going through and what you have been through. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting the Harbor Hosts -Robert and Kay who graciously and selflessly work to open their home, time, resources, and knowledge to ensure we feel welcome and safe. He greeted us at our slip, told us best places to go, offered his own vehicle for provisioning, and answered all questions. They outdid themselves. We truly felt like family. Appreciated EVER MINUTE!
