Yesterday test strips were applied at Nucla Hopkins Field Runway for the Seal Coat Project. The project begins this morning and Runway 5/23 will be closed as of today.

Runway 5/23 at Nucla Hopkins Field will be closed starting October 2 for approximately six days due to seal coating and pavement maintenance.

Nucla Hopkins Field Airport (AIB) has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program in accordance with regulations of the US Department of Transportation, 49 CFR Part 23. For fiscal years 2025 to 2027, AIB has established an overall goal of 1.2%. AIB’s DBE program overview will be presented via teleconference on April 22, 2025, at 9 AM (MST).
