Anyone else hear this MONSTER fly over our little slice of the Delta today about 1:00 pm?

Boeing’s B-52 Stratofortress came quietly passing through today…

I’m joking! It was NOT quiet! 😂

The combined 136,000 pounds of thrust from its Pratt & Whitney engines rang my ears from 26,000 feet above me.

This behemoth was traveling at a reported 401 knots, or 461 miles per hour 🤯

She had taken off from Barksdale, a quick lil loop around Tennessee, over Oak Grove, and I would assume back to Barksdale. (I quit following after screenshotting this picture.)

Too Long, Didn’t Read:
Big Jet. Big noise. Big fast. Fly over little town. Super rad! 😎

Just a fun little tidbit of aviation that happened around us today!
