Well, it's been a while! We were in Myrtle Beach for the past month. Since then we bought and closed on a house on oak island, NC. It's an absolute gut job, and it is going to take a ton of blood, sweat, and tears to renovate, but we couldn't say no to the ocean view. (We are right across the street from the public beach access!) More to come later!

It was a wonderful trip to oak island, NC. We rented a beach house for a week. Then we got to spend another week with my in-laws at an ocean front beach house. Today we moved to Myrtle Beach, SC for a month.

We moved from Oregon inlet (south of kitty hawk) to Ocracoke island in the outer banks. Took the ferry over. Jerry's first boat ride! Just here for a one-night layover. On our way to oak island tomorrow!

RV living is weird. We're in a koa resort now (just for the night) and it is not cheap. All these folks have golf carts to get around! Still near cape Charles, but making a big push to NC tomorrow.

It's been lovely here on the coast of Virginia! I was so happy to catch up with an old friend. Jerry swam in the ocean (well bay, but I think that still counts) for the first time too!!! I will miss this place!

Harvest hosts #3!!! Awesome wine and food. Very peaceful! I'm so glad we got this spot...it was a little out of the way for our next destination, but it is beautiful! I want to live here!!!

This is a wonderful spot. So far those fancy batteries and solar panels are doing just fine.
