Why do we love Oak Island?

Because it’s not trying to be the busiest beach in North Carolina.

It’s golf carts on side streets.
It’s morning walks with coffee in hand.
It’s dolphins offshore before breakfast.
It’s watching both spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the same island.

And after a day at the beach, it’s having a place where everyone can gather, laugh, and make memories together.

A few prime summer dates remain on our calendar. We’d love to share our favorite island with you.

The place where kids race to the beach before breakfast.
The place where card games last past bedtime.
The place where the same sunset somehow feels different every night.
