Bottom done in Harbor Blue gelcoat (fronts, sides and rear wet sanded/polished; far bottom not sanded) Sides and interior in Starke White Awlgrip and Pantone Blue boot stripe all finished in clear coat. All rough interior surfaces, backsides of hatches, under gunwales, inside of console and anchor locker in Tile Clad. Linered hatches refinished in gelcoat. Livewells in blue gelcoat. “Bonding putty”: a very popular product used in production boat building, yet very ironic they call it that, as it’s truly an inferior product that does not bond very well at all… over the years, between tearing up many boats, and going on many boats, we see the weakness of this product on those daily. There are plenty of better solutions like plexus or epoxy bonding agents.. or in my case just using fiberglass, tabbing everything together, and building it as one piece

The latest hull to hit our inventory: 32 SeaCraft. A lot of yall have been asking for a 30 some foot platform, so here you go. This is a proven legendary hull, that is now going to be rebuilt and over built, with the possibility for any custom features you can dream! Too early to talk numbers on this build, but if your a serious customer give me a shout 954 304 1538. No it’s not for sale as is and don’t expect it to be sold at the same price point as a 23 ☺️ some backstory: yall may remember this boat from The Qualified Captain a few years back when it lost steering and slammed into a dock. Well here’s the aftermath, and stay tuned for the repair!

Never know what you’ll find tearing into a boat. This is where I learn, from others lol but this is probably the first time I’ve ever seen foam core being used for a transom on a boat of this size. And to think there have been hundreds of these same boats made this same way, all running 20+ years now without any problems. Just goes to show you the strength of fiberglass. And it really goes to show the level of overkill we go when we do things around here.

This is one of the top reasons a yacht will sink. And Why you want a guy like me on your boat. I wasn’t even here for this repair, but it’s FAR too urgent to not say something. And it’s easy enough to take care of real quick, while in the bilge for something else entirely. Check your exhaust hoses and clamps regularly!!
