Our loft manager Jason Bashaw has been working on a personal project that’s a little different the sails your used to seeing these days. The sail is a sprit sail, one of the oldest forms of sail, used as far back as the Roman Empire perhaps even earlier. Who else has out here loves the look and functionality of a traditional sail?

Check out these new sun covers we just finished for a customers Benateau Oceanis 50. We were able to match some of the other bright orange color accents on this boat and make an old set of sails look fresh again.

A big sail for a big boat! We just finished installing this new code zero for a Lagoon 55 here in Ft Lauderdale. It’s built with an incredible new fabric made by Challenge Sailcloth that utilizes high tenacity fibers and a unique coating chemistry to make a durable, low stretch, high tear strength sailcloth, unrivaled by other polyester spinnaker fabrics on the market. If you’re located in Ft Lauderdale and need your sails repaired, for the month of July, we are offering free pick up and drop off, with one hour of rigging labor for removal included for free.
