I haven't used my Yamaha Big Bear 400cc 4x4 quad in over a year. Started up 2nd pull (it needs a new battery). Drove it around the property for a bit and had some fun. I need to use it more often. Loving my new Oakley Vandguard glasses! 😁👍🏽

I assembled this new Mercury jet pump assembly today. I need to order a water pump kit with housing, a shift cable from the jet pump to the tiller handle, and some other random hardware. This will be going on that 2025 Mercury 150hp with tiller.

A few pictures from today on that 2004 Mercury (Yamaha) 115hp EFI 4-stroke. I didn't take many pictures because I was taking videos with my new Oakley Vandguard glasses. The gearcase passed the pressure test & vacuum test. This one is good. I'm gonna order & install a new water pump kit, new gear oil, put everything back together, and test run the engine.

How to pressure test a gearcase on a 2004 Mercury (Yamaha) 115hp EFI 4-stroke. After letting it sit for 11min with 10inHg negative vacuum. It passed the vacuum test! This gearcase is good! Video 6 of 6. Using my new Oakley Vandguard glasses.

How to pressure test a gearcase on a 2004 Mercury (Yamaha) 115hp EFI 4-stroke. I put 10psi in the gearcase for 12min in this video. It didn't drop any pressure for 12min! It passed the pressure test! Video 5 of 6. Using my new Oakley Vandguard glasses.

How to pressure test a gearcase on a 2004 Mercury (Yamaha) 115hp EFI 4-stroke. I sprayed soapy water around the prop shaft, driveshaft, and shift rod. Then I applied 10psi into the gearcase. No bubbles coming out from any of the seals! Video 4 of 6. Using my new Oakley Vandguard glasses.
