In 2024-2025, Alameda CTC continued Delivering on Momentum by advancing major transportation investments across Alameda County. Construction moved forward on the I‑680 Gap Project and the I‑580 Express Lanes toll system upgrade, while key milestones were reached on the SR‑84/I‑680 Interchange Improvement Project, improving safety and regional connectivity. At the same time, the Safe Routes to Schools Program expanded to nearly 300 schools, supporting safer, healthier trips for students countywide.

Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) is pleased to announce the availability of $200 million of various Alameda CTC-administered discretionary funding sources, including Measure B and BB, Vehicle Registration Fee (VRF), Transportation Fund for Clean Air (TFCA), I-580 Toll Revenues, federal One Bay Area Grant Program Cycle 4 (OBAG 4), and Community Action Resource and Empowerment (CARE) funding for eligible public agencies to enhance and maintain the county’s multi-modal transportation system. Applications for the 2028 Comprehensive Investment Plan (CIP) will be accepted through July 27, 2026.

The event will highlight anticipated construction advertisements for bid, including East Bay Greenway Multimodal – San Leandro Segment anticipated to be advertised May 21 and East Bay Greenway Multimodal – Oakland North, San Pablo Avenue Parallel Bike Improvements, and San Pablo Avenue Safety Enhancements anticipated to be advertised in July, August, and September respectively. Attending contractors can connect with Alameda CTC staff and learn about and prepare for upcoming work.
