Sometimes running a business means remembering to pause and enjoy the sweetness too. 💛✨

During a little work-life reset at the International Flower & Garden Festival at EPCOT, I stopped to visit my favorite princess, Tiana — a character who has always meant something special to me. With my family roots in Louisiana, her story has always felt close to my heart. Representation matters… and she’s always been mine. 👑🌿

So imagine my surprise when, just moments later in Japan while grabbing “fruishi,” I looked up and saw one of my favorite influencers in real life — Courtney Quinn — along with Paris and Cerulean!

I’ve followed Courtney’s journey for years — from bold color and joyful fashion to home inspiration and her beautiful Tiana collaboration with Disney. Seeing her in person truly felt like one of those full-circle moments.

They were gracious, kind, and genuinely joyful. Paris even came back to share a few extra words with us before heading off again. Truly beautiful people inside and out.

Running a business like JR’s Candy Buffet Co. means creating magic for others…
but moments like this remind me to enjoy a little magic myself too. ✨
