Balancer replacement on this 150. You can see in one picture the gears had started to pit. Have your mechanic check the number on yours if you jave a 150 or 200. Yamaha is up to the 4th configuration due to failures on older ones. If it has a 1 or 2 stamped on it I highly recommend replacing.

Been a little busy and haven't been posting but finished this guy up finally today. Full service, w/p, lower unit reseal, starter brush replacement, new ignition wired in and some fresh batter cables. Baby fires up like she just rolled off the showroom. Getting her back up to her prime was a little bit, but now we can stay on top of the maintenance to keep her catching fish!
