Finished up carving/serving set for our son’s wedding. Knife forged from truck leaf spring, fork and server from Farrier rasps. Handle is left over scrap from kitchen cupboards that his great grandfather built in 1963.

SHE’S ALIVE - after over a year of working on a trip hammer I finally got to see her run yesterday. Not finished yet - need to get foot lever clutch attached to tighten the drive belt for operation. Made from scrap parts - only items purchased were drive pulleys, belt and pillow block bearings. Powered by an old re-purposed 220v milk tank agitator motor. Now time to make my own Damascus!
