One of my clients renewed their vows in Ireland this spring. They celebrated 25 years of marriage at a castle with their closest friends.

They originally asked about Fiji, the Maldives, and Greece. After talking through what they actually wanted (intimate, historic, strong local culture), we built a 10-day Ireland itinerary:

Ballynahinch Castle on the coast, vow renewal at Glenlo Abbey, countryside drives through Connemara.

Everything worked. The castle, the vow renewal, the timing, the details. This is the kind of trip I want to keep planning.

You should 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 book your flights before your hotel.
Here’s why.

It’s one of the most common mistakes I see when travelers start planning a big trip.

They find a “great deal” on flights, click purchase, and then start looking for hotels.

The problem?
𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘀.

Maybe the city has a major event that week and rooms are triple the price.
Maybe the perfect itinerary would have worked better in reverse if you hadn’t already locked yourself into an arrival date.

When I design an itinerary, the flights are one of the last pieces I confirm.
Because the hotels, their location, room selection, and timing set the tone for the entire trip.

Sometimes, saving $400 on airfare can cost you the experience you were dreaming of in the first place.

Some celebrations are meant to be shared with the world.
Others are best felt quietly, between people who know you and your story best.

This couple wanted to renew their wedding vows in Ireland.

No ceremony. No photographer. No set time on the itinerary.

Just a quiet moment with their closest friends, whenever it feels right.

So, I built their trip around that feeling of spontaneity.

They’ll start in Dublin, travel through Cork and Galway, and end in Connemara.
There’s enough structure for comfort, but plenty of space for something unplanned.

Maybe they’ll renew their vows at Glenlo Abbey overlooking Lough Corrib.

Maybe at the Cliffs of Moher if inspiration strikes.

Or maybe they’ll wait until they’re standing together on the castle grounds at Ballynahinch.

For this couple, they don’t need a stage or a timeline.

If I were to describe this season of my life in one word, it would be:

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹.

The past few months have been full of celebration.
Clients returned from a retirement trip exploring Europe. Two anniversary trips are on the books. My daughter just had her first birthday. And I’m in the midst of planning another anniversary getaway in Italy.

Business hasn’t slowed down.
Life hasn’t either. With baby #2 on the way, there’s even more to celebrate.

So I’ve been deliberate with how I spend my time.
I’m tightening my business processes to make sure everything runs seamlessly and nothing slips through the cracks.

I’m spending less time on marketing. That’s not my priority right now. My focus is on serving the clients I have. Quality over quantity.

And above all, I want to be present with my family. I don’t want to blink and miss this season.

I’ve been told these are the best years of life. I believe it.
This season is intentional, meaningful, and so much fun. ✨

Travel looks a little different these days.

It’s researching tours. Resort inspections. Hotel openings. Always looking at everything through a client’s eyes — and I 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 it.

But this time... it’s personal.

Next month, my husband and I are heading to Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres for a real vacation.

No site tours. No back-to-back meetings. Just time to relax, reconnect, and catch our breath after a year that’s been full of hard work, business growth, and the beautiful chaos of new parenthood. (Shoutout to the grandparents for babysitting our sweet 9-month-old!)

Of course, I can’t 𝘯𝘰𝘵 notice all the little details (that’s just who I am) and I’ll definitely have some insider takeaways about this gorgeous new resort.

But this trip?

It’s not about work. It’s about 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁.

And honestly, that’s something I believe all of us need:

𝘈𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘱 𝘢 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶.

No emails. No deadlines. No pressure to do anything but enjoy.
