Last week, I got a late-night call from a mom who needed to get herself and her two young daughters out of an abusive home before her husband returned.

I was the taxi driver who got them out that night and helped get them to a secure place.

Now they need help starting over. I started this GoFundMe to raise $4,000 so this mom and her two girls can move into an apartment and begin rebuilding their lives.

I know there are a lot of fundraisers out there. This one is personal to me because I was there.

The money raised goes directly to the mother. I helped her get set up as the beneficiary and enter her banking information so the funds can go directly to her.

Many of you have heard my taxi stories over the years, so I want you to know this one is very real. She didn’t ask me to start a GoFundMe. In fact, she didn’t ask me for anything—which is exactly why I want to see if WE can do something for her.
