Intercity Transit’s Bicycle Commuter Challenge (BCC) is a fun, free community event that encourages people of all ages and abilities residing in Thurston County to try bicycling for transportation, health and well-being. The BCC started in 1988 with about 30 participants as a challenge between a few workplaces in Olympia. In 2006 Intercity Transit began hosting the event and is now one of Intercit

y Transit’s many programs for improving mobility and quality of life in our community. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, volunteers and participants, the Bicycle Commuter Challenge is now in its 34th year!
