The start of CWS is Friday, June 12th. Regardless if you are a fan in from out of town, or a local to the area, it’s the perfect time to head to the Old Market for a horse drawn carriage ride.
We would like to WELCOME all of the CWS fans, many who have traveled across the country, for the “Greatest Show on dirt”! While in Omaha, remember to head just a few blocks South of the ball field, and check out the Old Market. It’s an iconic area, that should not be missed. We realize, that everything you need, you can find by the ball field, but you may just miss out on a few hidden gems, from restaurants, shops, bars, parks, and of course the carriage horses. Which are waiting for you in the Old Market. The horses are such a loved part of the area, our Company has been in the Old Market for 48 years. While the horses love their time meeting new friends, and seeing those that visit them on a regular basis. They go back home every night, to a farm in the country, where the have free roam of 50 acres of pasture. Then we rotate new horses for the next day.
Magical Journeys Horse carriages would love to have you stop by our carriage stand at the North East corner of 11th and Howard and give our horses some extra pets, and let us know where you have travelled from.
